SUMO mediated regulation of transcription factors as a mechanism for transducing environmental cues into cellular signaling in plants

چکیده

Abstract Across all species, transcription factors (TFs) are the most frequent targets of SUMOylation. The effect SUMO conjugation on functions has been extensively studied in animal systems, with over 200 being documented to be modulated by This resulted establishment a number paradigms that seek explain mechanisms which regulates factor functions. For instance, shown modulate TF DNA binding activity; regulate both localization as well abundance TFs and also influence association chromatin. With implicated master regulators cellular signalling pathways maintain phenotypic plasticity organisms, this review, we will discuss how mediated regulation activity facilitates molecular mount an appropriate coherent biological response environmental cues.

Noncoding RNA Mediated Traffic of Foreign mRNA into Chloroplasts Reveals a Novel Signaling Mechanism in Plants

Communication between chloroplasts and the nucleus is one of the milestones of the evolution of plants on earth. Proteins encoded by ancestral chloroplast-endogenous genes were transferred to the nucleus during the endosymbiotic evolution and originated this communication, which is mainly dependent on specific transit-peptides. However, the identification of nuclear-encoded proteins targeted to...

I-34: Steroid Hormone Signalling at the FetomaternalInterface

Background: Progesterone is indispensable for differentiation of human endometrial stromal cells (HESCs) into decidual cells, a process that critically controls embryo implantation. However, HESCs also abundantly express androgen receptors (AR), yet the role of this member of the superfamily of ligand-dependent transcription factors in the decidual process remains poorly elucidated. Materials a...

Nanocurcumin-Mediated Down-Regulation of Telomerase Via Stimulating TGFβ1 Signaling Pathway in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells

Background: Curcumin, extracted from turmeric, represents enormous potential to serve as an anticancer agent. Telomerase is viewed as a prominent molecular target of curcumin, and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGFβ1) has proven to be a major inhibitory signaling pathway for telomerase activity. In the current study, we aimed to explore suppressive effects of nanocurcumin on telomeras...
